Description

The School Zone Flashing Beacon System provides a bright warning to motorists to be alert for schoolchildren entering the roadway inside the school zone. These systems feature the Spot Devices System Infrastructure Management Applications (SIMA) suite, a set of secure Web-based tools for remote, enterprise-wide supervision of all Spot Devices systems.

Operation

Located at the boundaries of school zones, these attention-getting beacons automatically activate according to a calendar schedule. In addition to regularly scheduled activation periods, the beacons can be remotely activated at any time by authorized users via SIMA.
